What's Included

The Science Explorer program comprises a book and a kit—everything a leader needs to do more than 30 engaging science activities with up to 40 kids.

The Science Explorer Kit, created by the Center for Hands-On Learning, provides all of the required materials in four plastic storage tubs. Each activity is in its own labeled bag with materials and a laminated card with directions.

The Science Explorer Book collects all the activities in one place and provides introductions, additional ideas, and suggestions. The book also includes startling facts in sections labeled “Wow! I Didn’t Know That!” and explanations in sections labeled “What’s Going On?” Additional copies of the book are available for purchase.
