Staff Development Support Kit

For schools that conduct staff development on their own, these kits include classroom observation videos and handbooks for staff workshop facilitation. The videos (provided on tape and DVD) demonstrate instructional routines and student responses as well as assessment, placement, and grouping. They also help with lesson pacing and classroom management.

These support kits can be used for initial training, as a refresher, or as an introduction for new staff members who may have missed initial training.

Three kits support the SIPPS program:

Early Reading Instruction for Grades K–3

Components include:
