The two level program starts with short vowels and simple consonant
sounds. It progresses to complex vowels and high-frequency irregular
words and
continues through the polysyllabic strategies that are critical
for content-area reading. It can serve as an intervention
for students who are struggling with reading or as an initial decoding
program.
