Federal Funding

The following programs, which are part of the federal government’s No Child Left Behind Act, are potential sources of funding.

Part B: Reading First. SIPPS® is currently approved for Reading First funding in California, Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.

California State Funding

Instructional Materials Funding Realignment Program (IMFRP):
SIPPS® is one of the components of Scholastic’s approved READ 180 program.

IMFRP funds can be used to purchase SIPPS. (Select “Reading/Language Arts/ELD” in Step 1 and “Scholastic” as the publisher in Step 2. SIPPS® will come up on the next page.)

AB1802: Supplemental Materials for English Learners
SIPPS® is aligned with English Language Development (ELD) and English Language Arts (ELA) reading standards for kindergartners through sixth graders. AB1802 funds can be used to purchase SIPPS.
