Your schools may be eligible to apply for the following state and federal funds:

Federal Funding

The following programs, which are part of the federal government’s No Child Left Behind Act, are potential sources of funding.

Title I: Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged
Title III: Language Instruction for Limited English Proficient and Immigrant Students

California State Funding

Instructional Materials Funding Realignment Program (IMFRP):
  • SIPPS is one of the components of Scholastic’s approved READ 180 program.
  • IMFRP funds can be used to purchase SIPPS. (Select “Reading/Language Arts/ELD” in Step 1 and “Scholastic” as the publisher in Step 2. SIPPS will come up on the next page.)
AB1802: Supplemental Materials for English Learners
  • SIPPS is aligned with English Language Development (ELD) and English Language Arts (ELA) reading standards for kindergartners through sixth graders. AB1802 funds can be used to purchase SIPPS.
