Each grade's 12 activities focus on number, measurement, and geometry to build skills and connect home with school. At school: Children learn a game of exploration that extends their experience with a mathematical concept and prepares them for an activity they will do at home. At home: The student and home partner perform the math activity. Back at school: The students share and discuss their experiences, for example, by organizing the data from home activities. Children build math skills Children develop social skills Home partners (usually parents) make connections to school
