Federal Funding

The following programs, part of the federal government’s No Child Left Behind Act, are potential sources of funding. See how the Making Meaning program matches the Reading First guidelines.

Title I: Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged
Title II: Preparing, Training, and Recruiting High-Quality Teachers and Principals

California State Funding

  • AB1802: Supplemental Materials for English Learners: Making Meaning is aligned to English Language Development (ELD) and English Language Arts (ELA) reading, listening, and speaking standards for kindergartners through sixth graders. AB1802 funds can be used to purchase Making Meaning.
