Our First DSC National Conference
Yahoo! We are getting all geared up for the DSC National Conference in Chicago at the end of this week—hope you are coming!
We have planned a very exciting couple of days—from interactive sessions around ways we want our schools to be, to motivating keynotes by Tim Shriver and Peter Brunn. You can read a little about Tim Shriver's work with the Special Olympics here.
For those of you who will be with us (as well as for those of you experiencing it from afar) we want to make sure you make the most of our time in the Windy City. To this end, we’d like to encourage you to use Facebook or Twitter to leverage our collective learning during the DSC National Conference.
Collaboration can happen in many different ways. For those of us attending the conference in Chicago, we will collaborate in real time all day long during the sessions on Thursday and Friday. For those of you who can’t join but still want to be a part, let’s collaborate digitally! Feel free to post questions or comments!
Below are some tools that might be helpful to you when you collaborate digitally with us in Chicago.
- As a way to categorize our messages, we will use a hashtag when we tweet. The DSC National Conference Twitter hashtag is #dsc2012. Here is our tweet about the hashtag.
- Here are some directions on how to use a hashtag when you tweet.
