Teambuilders

Welcome back to school! As you are getting back into the swing of things with your students, there are many ways that the Caring School Community (CSC) program can support the beginning of the year. One of the most important ways is through teambuilders.

Much of what we’re trying to help you accomplish with CSC is a sense of community for students and teachers alike. A key aspect of this is fostering strong relationships. The teambuilders in your Class Meetings box take only a few minutes to do but are invaluable in building connections among your students. The goal is to help students see where they have similar interests and experiences so they can build connections with more peers. And you can modify the teambuilders to use multiple times in different contexts.

There are also many other websites with ideas to augment the teambuilders in CSC. What are some of your favorite teambuilders or ice-breakers? Let us know in the Comments section below.
