Summer Speaking Schedule—I'm Back!
After a few weeks of vacation. And another few weeks of trying to dig out from being on vacation. I am back to blogging.
Watch out!
I have a few trips coming up at the end of this month and next. I hope to do lots of reporting on the thing I am learning. Here are a few highlights:
July 27–28: Birmingham, AL
I will be speaking at the Alabama Literacy Leadership Conference next week. I am doing a session on the 27th and a keynote and session on the 28th. This is open to the public. Please join us if you can.
August 5: Orlando, FL
On this date my colleagues and I will be doing a one day workshop on lesson study with leaders from the Orange County Public Schools. We will do some live blogging from that event so stay tuned.
August 10–11: Louisville, KY
I will be meeting with district folks and helping DSC launch some of our literacy work in the Jefferson County Public Schools.
August 17–18: Chesapeake, VA
I will be keynoting a summer conference for the district's Title I schools.
I suppose that this means my summer is officially over. I am happy I had some time with family for the past few weeks. It sure has been nice to be home for en extended period of time. Now the work begins...
